A few introductory remarks...
Lightwind-Kiting!
Kitesurfing is becoming more and more accessible. It's on its way to become a sport for the mass-market.
There has been enormous progress in the development of both boards and kites.
Recently, we have seen huge changes on the beaches all over the world - pure C-Kites as we were used to seeing until 2007 have become an exception in the sky. Instead, the market is split between Bows, Hybrids, Swept-Backs or Deltas.
The advantages of these concepts are evident: More depower, a larger windrange, an easy relaunch and an all-around easy accessibility of the kite's power make for simply more fun on the water.
In spite of this enormous progress, one area remains very special: Lightwind.
Through this short survey, we of Jochum & Nesler Kitesports want to get closer to the truth about:
"What do kiters want concerning light wind?" and "Up to what size a tube kite does make sense - and more importantly: fun?"
Please take some minutes and answer these questions.
